Tonight I did a show. There were a bunch of regulars there. We asked for donations to help a comic that was seriously injured in a car accident. The audience not only remembered the comic(s) but were fans. They had no problem dropping $20 bills in the bucket and offering help in other ways. Hey comics, these people are actually listening to you. Respect that.
